EnrichYouth is run by Arjun, a junior at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, teaching middle schoolers the financial literacy, competition, and robotics programming skills he's picked up firsthand.
Every program is taught or coached directly by Arjun. Nothing here is a generic curriculum; it's built from what he's actually competed in, coached, and worked on himself.
EnrichYouth (legally registered as EnrichYou, a New Jersey nonprofit) started with a simple idea: take the skills one student had already worked hard to build, and make them useful to others in the community. It started with financial literacy, something most of us never actually get taught in school.
Half of what Arjun earns coaching swim lessons goes right back into funding EnrichYouth's programs, so the organization is partly self-funded from the start.
Arjun is a junior at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, an assistant swim coach at JCC Edison, programming captain for his school's robotics team, and a competitor who's won at both FBLA and Model UN. EnrichYouth grew out of wanting to pass those same skills on to others: financial confidence, competitive strategy, public speaking, and coding.
Classes are held at the JCC of Middlesex County in Edison, thanks to Coach Laurie offering the space after seeing Arjun's work with the swim team.
Fill out the form to register a student for an upcoming session. Spots are limited to keep sessions small and hands-on.
We only use this information to run our programs and get in touch about class details. We never sell or share it.
How your registration helps: Program fees, along with half of what Arjun earns coaching swim lessons, help fund free and low-cost spots so the program can keep growing.
Donations help fund free spots, materials, and the expansion into technology programs like Java and Cloud fundamentals.
